Shoe Cleaning Guide
Begin by using a dry napkin, then proceed with a dry toothbrush for a more thorough cleansing, getting rid of mud and dirt from all external sections of the shoes. If your shoes are exceptionally muddy, it is advisable to allow the mud to dry before scrubbing them, as it will come off more effortlessly in fragments.
2) CLEAN BY SCRUBBING USING A GENTLE SOLUTION
Blend a small quantity of a mild cleansing agent of your preference (such as a natural, dye-free detergent, dishwashing liquid, or even anti-dandruff shampoo) in cold water and delicately scrub the soiled areas of the shoes and insoles with a toothbrush until foam is produced. Continue until all the dirt is eradicated and wipe off using a dry napkin or fabric.
3) WIPE OFF USING A MOIST CLOTH
Now eliminate any remaining foam with napkins or a cloth soaked in cold water.
4) PAT AND AIR DRY
The shoes (including the insoles) should now be clean, albeit slightly damp. Pat them dry with a cloth until they are completely dry, and stuff them with newspaper to dry overnight (tip: keep the insoles separate, avoid drying the shoes outdoors, and refrain from using heat sources to expedite the process as direct sunlight or heat could deform them). For added odor protection, include a dryer wipe or lightly sprinkle baking soda on the padding.
